Never imagined I’d spend a Tuesday laying on the floor of a tomb, but I can’t say that anymore. The tombs all have local villagers hanging around them, happy to secretly move barriers and point out the cool things for a nominal fee. I respect and love the hustle.

But this was our last tomb and we didn’t fit too well in any of them (yo - how tiny were ancient Egyptians?!) so when he walked in and went into hustle mode, he turned around to find us laying down and staring up in wonder. The look of confusion on his face was priceless 😂

After about 10 minutes he realized we were here to kick it, and after laughing and shooting photos of us with my cell phone he climbed down and joined the cyph, laughing and smiling at the entire situation. After a half hour of lounging in a Queen’s tomb, we crawled out and dapped him goodbye before setting back off into the blistering heat.
