When I told my brother @thezeromachine I was heading to Kenya, he plugged me in with his aunts, uncles, all sorts of family who took us deep into the Masai tribal lands - including this beautiful farm full of super curious kids that flocked to the two strange musungus that arrived. . . Now. That’s not to say it went smoothly - the second picture was taken just after we had a Mexican (or Kenyan) standoff. I still have no clue what happened other than Z’s uncle and his homie talking super fast Swahili to a group of super angry Masai yelling about us musungus. . . Street instincts kicked in and I was spying which guy was eating the first left hook, started positioning myself accordingly....and then somehow they reached an accord and we were all friends. Whew. . . Spent the rest of the day wandering the tribal lands and farms, getting my tattoos examined, chasing zebra with these rascals, learning how to hunt lions with a spear and shield (which he assured me was bulletproof 😳), made the kids laugh hysterically with my terrible Masai jump dancing, and laid back and basked in the glory of a disconnected paradise. . Oh yeah - a day later I bribed our way out of Kenyan prison in a back alley during a rainstorm, but that story I’ll save for in person only. 🤐 . Brother Z - thank you again all these years later. Let’s run it back! - 5/22/2019
