Lesotho. What a wild ride to end this amazing adventure. Before I started planning this trip, I had never even heard of Lesotho, now I’m leaving madly in love with the smallest country in Africa. Over a six day span, I drove 24 hours total, marking the third country on this trip we drove completely across. We got stuck at the bottom of the Sani Pass in zero visibility fog and rain, finally climbed it in the gnarliest drive of my life, chased by the fog til we made it above the clouds and relished one of the most epic views I’ve ever seen. Made dozens of friends as we laced up a preschool with the remainder of our soccer balls to elated Besotho kids, got our fortunes read by a tiny village witch doctor (so on point), lazed on hot stones next to cold pools of flowing mountain water, talked my way out of an attempted police shakedown (not me son!), stayed in a beautiful hobbit hut (swipe for the photo), and smiled and laughed with so many amazing people. Super sad to be leaving, but gotta get back to the hustle and earn the next adventure! Hundreds of stories to tell at the Thanksgiving table with my beautiful family, then jumping a plane to see my Fort Worth fam. But first - tacos or In N Out? Or both I’ll be back with more stories once I’m not deliriously tired. Thank god for the lay flat alllll the way to LA! Hope you’ve enjoyed tagging along a fraction as much as we’ve enjoyed this adventure. Love y’all!!!!
